I've found one of my best sources of creative ideas to be talking with other writers. A few of my friends are also writers, and we'll spend hours coming up with "what if" scenarios and writing prompts and things. If you can find someone who thinks on the same creative level you do, it's a great way to harvest ideas.

To me, creativity is a result of eliminating reason temporarily to think outside the box and then introducing reason after the idea has been fully explored. The funny thing about it though, is that many of the things we love to use in our time was created accidentally. I Like your article.

Thanks for participating in our daily all topics and articles blog carnival - http://cerebralbarbedwire.blogspot.com/2009/03/cerebral-barbedwire-blog-carnival-march_03.html.

Juliet, a major inspiration and source of ideas is the music that I listen to. At any given moment I can be found listening to Hip Hop, Classic Soul, Rock, Punk, or R & B music. Having a spectrum of music that wide exposes me to all sorts of creative genius with no boundaries of race, age, or any other preference.

I know it may seem odd but it works. When I opened my mind to different genres of music I opened my mind to everything.
